Milo has been a constant in my life when I felt like everything was going to shit and life wasn't worth the hassle. Since he was a few months old he has seen me cry, scream, laugh and go damn right insane (especially when he tore my blinds in half at 3am one time, or when he tried to jump out of a second floor flat window when I was mid winging my eyeliner!) But through it all, he has been my most loved companion. It's right what they say, there is no bond stronger than a girl and the pet she gets in her twenties.

So here is how Milo supports me when I'm running my blog, working from home or just living through everyday life. More pictures on my Pinterest :)

He distracts me when I'm too engrossed in a project. - I think he might have a sixth sense because I swear he always distracts me when I've forgotten to take a break. One of his favourite tricks is to meow at me until I stroke him, and if I don't give him attention he jumps on the top shelf of my bookcase.

He keeps me company during long meetings - Most of the time Milo likes to nap with someone else in the room with him, so he's happy to curl up on the bed next to me while I take a long call. He knows too many corporate secrets ;)

He reminds me to keep the place clean - Milo has a sneaky habit of cleaning bowls and teacups when someone isn't looking so I have to wash up mugs and plates ASAP. Does anyone else's cat also like to drink lukewarm tea??

He hunts spiders when I'm too scared to - Spiders scare the shit out of me and Milo seems to love chasing them so it's a win win situation. When Milo was a kitten he chased a fly all around my room and collapsed on my floor to nap after.

If you need a sign to get a cat, take this as one :)
