The Name Origin

I can imagine the name of my social handles is a bit of a mouthful to pronounce, or you’re unsure on which syllable to emphasis. So here is a little backstory:

About five years ago on TikTok I decided to make my username something more ‘interesting’. At the time I remember feeling pretty pessimistic, as most eighteen year olds do, about something that most definitely does not matter now haha. And I think manifesting with a Greek god was trending. For this reason, I decided to amalgamate ‘Ethereal’ and ‘Realist’.

Both words I feel compliment each other and reflect partially how I feel about myself. The importance of having realistic expectations but also dreams is something I’m still learning to balance in life.

For now, I’ll keep the name as a reminder :)
